When Maggie wakes up after a night of fantastical space adventures, she is back in hospital next to her bird-loving friend, Sol. It's raining, but she is determined that they'll make it out into the garden, and maybe even find Sol's incredible bird. With the help of family and friends, and Maggie's sparkling imagination, they eventually set out on their long journey. And in the garden, they find that reality can be even more beautiful than fantasy…

The Unstoppable Maggie McGee was commissioned by Wesleyan (Birmingham) and raised over £40,000 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity’s Magnolia House Appeal. Many patients, siblings, and children with long-term medical conditions helped with research for this book.
